1.You can upgrade he miner’s firmware on ‘System->Upgrade’ page. You can check which version of the software you are currently running on the ‘System->Overview’ page. ‘File System version’ displays the date of the firmware your miner use. In the example below, the miner is using 20150105 firmware.

2、Click “Upgrade”

3. ‘Keep setting’ is chosen by default and should be enabled if you want to keep your current settings. You should deselect this option if you are trying to return the miner to default settings. Click ‘Browse’ button to choose upgrade file.

4. Select the upgrade and click the “Flash image...” button.
There is a pop-window. Click the button marked as “b”

5. The miner start to upgrade. During the upgrade process, you need to wait patiently, and must keep power on, otherwise, the AntMiner can only be fixed with returned to factory.
6. Please download the firmware as below.
https://enshop.bitmain.com/support.htm
7. Please don’t extract the firmware file after downloading
8. Please make sure the firmware you download match the type and frequency of your miner. The hash rate has been added to the name of the firmware as below.

I Followed this instruction and got error incorrect firmware.

I reinstalled the backup, and it' running again, however  I don't think it's upgraded. So, How to get the latest / appropriate firmware?

I Have the same error Lance, and Bitmain support team tells me that is a main board problem! i dont think that all of my 10 miners are suddenly damage, especially becasuse they are minning the correct hash rate!

Did you find a solution???

Is the miner (L3+ in my case) connected to the computer to which you are dowloading the files, or how is the computer to communicate with the miner?  The instructions could be clearer on this matter.  They talk of a computer without any discussion of the linkage of the two devices.

Also, noting that power outage during firmware upgrade would require returning the miner to Bitmain for repair, is there a protective approach I can use against power outage?  For example, could I use a back-up power bank, and if so, are there any specifications?  I ask becasue I have never used a back-up power bank, so I do not know about their specs and any issues of caution.
